A Visit from Chef Celeste: Fresh Eyes on Farm Innovation

We were honored to welcome Chef Celeste Gill (@chefcelestegill) to Chris and Camille’s Family Farm for an inside look at how we grow, harvest, and deliver some of the freshest microgreens in the region.

During her visit, Chef Celeste toured our hydroponic growing systems—an essential part of how we produce consistent, high-quality microgreens year-round. These systems allow us to cultivate vibrant, nutrient-dense greens in a clean, controlled environment, using less water while maximizing flavor, texture, and visual appeal.

From seed to harvest, every tray of microgreens is carefully monitored to ensure peak freshness. Chef Celeste got an up-close view of this process, seeing firsthand how our farm blends sustainability with precision agriculture to serve chefs, home cooks, and our local community.

Her takeaway? Freshness you can taste—and a system built for quality.

Fresh Picks at Red Stick Farmers Market

Following her visit, Chef Celeste shared her excitement about bringing these farm-fresh microgreens directly to the community. If you’re heading to the Red Stick Farmers Market, you’ll have the opportunity to grab freshly harvested microgreens—cut at peak flavor and ready to elevate your meals.

Whether you’re adding a burst of flavor to a salad, garnishing a plated dish, or blending them into a nutrient-packed smoothie, our microgreens are a simple way to bring chef-level quality into your kitchen.

Growing Community Through Food

Visits like this remind us why we do what we do. Connecting with chefs, creators, and food lovers helps us continue pushing forward—refining our methods, expanding our reach, and staying rooted in our mission to provide fresh, local, and sustainably grown products.

We’re grateful to Chef Celeste for spending time with us and sharing her experience. Moments like these help bridge the gap between farm and table—bringing more awareness to where our food comes from and how it’s grown.

Be sure to follow along for more farm updates, collaborations, and opportunities to experience Chris and Camille’s Family Farm firsthand.
